Presented by Employment Lawyer Lisa Fried-Grodin
Employment Lawyer Lisa Fried-Grodin is the owner of Fried-Grodin Employment Law LLC, a modern law firm for the evolving workplace. Workplace change is constant. Lisa is well-versed on the constantly changing employment laws, new workplace dynamics, and the importance of working in a positive workplace culture.
She represents both employers and employees in New Jersey and New York, which gives her insight into the values, strategies and tactics used by both sides at work and in settlement and litigation. This enables her to be an informed and trusted advisor, zealous advocate, and effective mediator.
In addition to being part of our chapter, Lisa is on the advisory board of the Morris Chamber of Commerce’s Human Resources Committee, is a member of the New Jersey chapter of the National Employment Lawyers Association, and is a member of the Labor and Employment Law Committee of the New York City Bar Association.
Lisa represents clients in litigation and also provides employment law advice to address situations successfully without litigation, including matters involving discipline and termination, sexual harassment, discrimination, medical and family leaves, whistleblower/retaliation, wage and hour requirements, compensation issues, employee classification issues, employment agreements, separation agreements and workplace policies.
Lisa has been practicing law since 2002, always as an employment attorney.
She is also a private mediator mediating cases involving all aspects of employment law and is a court appointed mediator on the New Jersey Court system’s mediator roster.
Prior to starting Fried-Grodin Employment Law in 2022, Lisa was a partner at Meyers Fried-Grodin LLP, a firm she co-founded, and where she helped hundreds of clients for 11 years. Earlier in her legal career, she worked as an employment lawyer for Fox Rothschild and Grotta, Glassman & Hoffman.
