Through real-world experiences, role-playing exercises, and peer discussions, attendees will gain actionable tools to address and prevent workplace incivility. This session aligns with SHRM’s Interpersonal and Business Leadership Competencies and HRCI’s Employee Relations & Engagement Functional Area for recertification credit eligibility.

Learning Objectives:

Define Workplace Civility – Explain the concept of workplace civility, its impact on organizational culture, and key behaviors contributing to a respectful and inclusive environment.

Recognize and Address Uncivil Behaviors - Identify subtle and overt forms of workplace incivility, analyze their effects on employee well-being and productivity, and apply strategies for conflict resolution and accountability.

Integrate Civility into Workplace Practices – Develop and implement actionable policies, training programs, and communication techniques that promote respectful dialogue, active listening, and a culture of civility.
