She is the co-author of Accounting for Times, Evolve or Dissolve and Train Your Successor™, and a frequent speaker on leadership, talent strategy, and the future of HR.
Her work focuses on helping HR leaders shift from process managers to enterprise-minded leaders who shape culture, strategy, and long-term organizational value.
What This Session Covers
HR leaders are being asked to do more than ever: help employees adapt to AI, develop stronger leaders, prepare entry-level employees for the workplace, improve communication, and demonstrate measurable business value - all while operating within increasingly constrained budgets. This session gives HR leaders a practical framework for prioritizing these competing demands and building a workforce strategy that connects technology, leadership, communication, and human capability – an organizational rebuild. Rather than chasing every new training trend, attendees will learn how to identify the skills their organization actually needs, where AI can augment human capability, and where investing in people remains essential.
Key Learnings
1. Stop Treating AI as a Technology Project: Make It a People Strategy
Learn how HR can help employees adapt to AI-driven changes by addressing fear, resistance, skill gaps, job redesign, and the human behaviors required for successful adoption.
2. Build Business Acumen Without Breaking the Budget
Learn how to identify the leadership and business skills that actually matter and create practical development opportunities using managers, internal experts, peer learning, mentoring, and targeted external resources.
3. The Skills New Employees Aren't Learning in School
Explore how HR can intentionally develop communication, accountability, conflict management, professionalism, critical thinking, judgement and workplace confidence in entry-level employees - turning "soft skills" into measurable business capabilities.
