Speaker: Anastasia Branco

Anastasia Branco is the founder of The GardenHR – a brand and a mindset born during one blazing New Jersey summer, when tending her garden sparked a bold new perspective on how we grow people and organizations. She’s a seasoned HR leader who’s helped companies thrive through change, and she’s not afraid to get her hands dirty literally or figuratively! While most HR leaders talk about performance metrics and org charts, Anastasia Branco talks about sun, soil, and strategy. Why? Because she realized that the same principles she applies in her backyard garden are exactly what it takes to grow strong teams, healthy cultures, and sustainable leadership. Anastasia is a Business and HR Consultant and the Founder & CEO of AB Talent & HR Solutions LLC. Her firm guides clients with strategies that focus on HR’s intrinsic value and impact on organizational and business success. She has extensive knowledge within a wide range of industries – consumer products, chemicals, manufacturing and E-Commerce. Her work is rooted in developing HR strategies, building HR functions and teams, leading talent initiatives and employment branding, coaching, and developing and delivering training. Her unique perspective blossomed from experiences with brands such as Coca-Cola, SHEEX, and her own inspirational story. Anastasia earned a BA in Psychology from the University of Pennsylvania and an MSBA in HR Management from Temple University’s Fox School of Business, graduating with honors. She has also achieved her SHRM-SCP and SPHR Certifications. Anastasia’s message is approachable, relatable, and unforgettable. With humor, heart, and a few horticultural metaphors, Anastasia will challenge you to rethink how you cultivate trust, manage growth, and lead with intention.

Session Title: “Let’s Get Dirty: Sowing Seeds for Success”

Throughout a hot New Jersey summer, Anastasia realized how her adventures in her home garden connected so closely to her career in Talent and Human Resources, and a brand was born – The GardenHR! Anastasia quickly recognized that each phase of the planting life cycle ties to people, processes and concerns facing every business/organizational leader and Human Resources practitioner. Attendees will get to hear her anecdotes and fresh perspective on how she approaches HR, business, partnerships and life in general. Anastasia uses her garden stories to illustrate strategy, leadership and organizational growth in a very understandable and approachable way. Anastasia will share her own story – the failures AND the harvests. Attendees will learn how to start sowing the seeds for their OWN growth. Attendees don’t need a green thumb to be engaged by Anastasia’s story, to relate to these learnings, and to be inspired to cultivate their own success.

Learning Objectives: Using lecture format, group discussion, and a bit of storytelling, we will: 1. “Plant Your Purpose” by understanding and identifying motivation, direction, and goals. What are the seeds that we plant each day to achieve our goals by understanding needs, strengths, conditions, and strategies? 2. “Cultivate Connection” through sharing stories, not just business cards. Value growing networks and organizations rooted in genuine connection. 3. “Grow Your Career” to thrive, more than survive. Attendees will learn that their careers may blossom in new ways every day, by continuing to nourish their growth, support development and learning, and getting out on the skinny branches to reach the sweetest fruit of success.
